Prerequisites
- Access to a Google Tag Manager container. Read access is enough for the audit.
- Edit rights on the container if you want to create or edit tags from your AI.
- The connected Google account must have access to that container.
The connection
From your Alpative console, click “Connect” next to Tag Manager and choose the Google account that manages your containers. Check the address shown before confirming.
List my accessible Google Tag Manager accounts and containers.
What you can ask
Audit my container: list the tags, their triggers, and flag tags without a trigger, duplicates and paused tags.
Which tags fire on all pages? Are any of them slowing the site down for no clear reason?
Prepare, as a draft, a conversion tag for my new form, with the appropriate trigger. Do not publish anything, I will review it.
Good to know
Changes are made in a workspace, as drafts. Nothing goes to production until publication is triggered, and that publication remains a guarded action, reserved for the Actions mode of the Expert plan. In short: your AI can prepare the work, you keep control over what goes live.
